A Message from the Director
85% of the $225,000.00 budget required to keep the Boys & Girls Club open comes from fundraisers, the hopeful acquisition of grants and the generosity of people who care about the future of our youth and our community. While we operate under the guidelines of the Boys & Girls Club of America, we receive absolutely no funding from them. Each Club is on their own to become part of their community and provide a safe and positive place for children to learn life skills and healthy habits. We currently have over 100 members. Stop in and see the Club to see what your money can do. Send your donations to BGCWC at 307 Lancaster Street, Suite 1, Marietta, Ohio 45750 or send them to the Cynthia Summers Fund for The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County c/o The Marietta Community Foundation at 100 Putnam Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750. As a 501 (C)3, all donations are tax deductible and you will receive a letter verifying your donation.
